According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Nicole P.King, 30, of South Glens Falls, after an investigation into driving while intoxicated. King was stopped for several vehicle and traffic violations, while on State Route 196 in the Town of Kingsbury. King failed several sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was arrested and processed at the Law Enforcement Center in Fort Edward Sheriff’s where she tested a .12% BAC. At the time King was operating her vehicle, she had a 4 year old son in the car with her which resulted in a felony charge under Leandra’s Law. King was processed and arraigned the Town of Fort Edward Court. She was released to appear on a future date. Washington and Warren County Child Protective Services where also invovled in the investigation.
Charges Filed: DWI, DWI w/ BAC greater than .08%, Leandra’s Law (Aggravated DWI w/ Child in The Vehicle - Felony), Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Failure to Maintain Lane, Uninspected Motor Vehicle.
