INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, Jill M. Hurley was arrested in connection to an investigation at the Washington County Jail.  Hurley was found to have passed narcotics to an inmate at the jail during a visit.

Hurley was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Promoting Dangerous Contraband 1st Degree. Hurley was arraigned at Washington County Centralized Arraignment and remanded for lack of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
