Middleton headed to prison

Robert Nolan Middleton

District Attorney Tony Jordan announced today that Robert “Nolan” Middleton pled guilty to a pending Bribing a Witness Charge and admitted to a Felony Violation of Probation and was sentenced to a total sentence of 4 1/3 to 11 years in state prison. This plea follows an extensive investigation led by First Assistant District Attorney Christian Morris and included individuals from the Washington County Probation Department and Sheriff’s Department.  “The investigation and information developed led to evidence supporting this plea agreement today,” said Jordan.  Without the incredible cooperation and hard work by all of the agencies involved, this result would not have been possible.

Middleton is a dangerous predator targeting vulnerable children.  He took advantage of his access to financial resources to gain favor with families that struggled financially to then gain access to their children.  We developed information that he has been doing this for years.

Because of a few courageous youth and the hundreds of hours invested by the District Attorney’s Office, Probation Department and Sheriff’s Department he will spend up to eleven (11) years in State Prison
