INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kristopher R. Burch, age 45, for multiple offenses stemming from an incident in July 2020. Burch was charged with Attempted Burglary 2nd, a class D Felony; Criminal Contempt 1st and Aggravated Family Offense, both class E felonies; Endangering the Welfare of a Child
and Criminal Mischief 4th both class A misdemeanors. In July, the Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate a report that Burch had attempted to enter a residence of which the occupant had
a stay away order of protection against him. The investigation further noted damages to the incident location caused by Burch. Following several tips, Burch was arrested Tuesday by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at a residence in the Town of Queensbury. Burch was arraigned in the Fort Edward Town Court and remanded to the Washington County Jail in lieu of $1,000 Cash Bail or $2,000 Bond.
