[ARCHIVED] Rabies Clinic Scheduled-August 7th- By Appointment Only

Washington County Public Health will be holding their next Drive-Thru Rabies Clinics, By Appointment Only, on Saturday, August 7th in Greenwich.  The clinic will take place at the Greenwich Town Highway Garage at 650 County Rt 77, Greenwich NY. 

You MUST register for the Clinic: Registration will take place July 19th through July 30th 8;30am-3:30pm by calling 518-746- 2411 or emailing name and contact number to rabies@washingtoncountyny.gov  to leave a message for an appointment.  (A confirmation email with an appointment time will be sent back.)

Registration will end on July 30th at 3:30pm or sooner, if appointments are filled before then.

After appointment is scheduled, Pet owners must provide proof of previous vaccination to Public Health.  Proof of previous rabies vaccination is required to get a 3-year rabies certificate, otherwise a 1-year rabies certificate will be issued. 

Pet owners must wear a mask at all times.

Pet owners should not arrive more than 5 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.

Pet owners must stay in their vehicles until instructed otherwise. (Cannot get out to walk pet around and pet(s) should relieve themselves prior to arriving at clinic site.)

All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
