Washington County’s Public Health and Public Safety Departments continue to work with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the New York State Department of Health and New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services to prepare for local effects of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
As of today (March 8, 2020) at 1:00 PM, Washington County Public Health is monitoring three local residents who reported close contact with a subject testing positive for COVID-19. The residents are self-quarantined and awaiting the results of testing. Currently there are no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Washington County at this time.
All official updates and information from Washington County will originate from our county Public Health and Public Safety Departments and will be posted on our public information page at washingtoncountyny.gov/coronavirus . Any additional information we post and or share will be vetted and originate from within our own offices, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) or the New York State Department of Health.

Should there be no direct answer, you may leave a voicemail message that will be returned.

Updated medical knowledge, recommendations, planning and situational status which may appear to be contradictory may likely be due to the continuing development of information.
